Sonoma County Taiko is a community organization formed in 1995 as a way to explore and express this aspect of Japanese culture in Sonoma County. Taiko is a blend of percussion, martial arts and dance that is able to rouse the senses of the performer and audience. Sonoma County Taiko is a diverse group drawn from all segments of society to form a cohesive team that dynamically performs the exciting art of Taiko.
